Since I don't have a topic in mind to blog about, why not tell a story about my roomate who happens to be my officemate. He's not just an ordinary officemate, but he's also about to become my boss (unless of course bad fate chases him and he won't get promoted this July as our cluster's Associate Director).
Reycres is a native of Roxas City, Capiz. Everyone can assume that he is from that region in the Visayas because of his very very heavy Ilonggo accent which, according to him, is not so Illonggo. He stands 5'5" and has been hitting the gym recently to lose more weight. He claims that he had a gymfit body way way back when he was in Singapore. He recently joined our audit firm last November 2009 after he resigned with the same firm a year ago. According to one of our Associate Directors he can still be classified as a "new staff" in the firm since he has just been regularized last May 2010.
I remembered one of our several chat conversation over our Lotus Note Sametime® to testify his bouyancy, self confidence, jauntiness, sprightliness and uhm, perkiness:
Me: ang laki laki ng sweldo mo..manlibre ka naman!
Reycres: Pag napromote ako this year as associate director
Me: ano bibilhin mo pag na promote ka na? Kotse?
Reycres: nope di ako bibili ng kotse mahal ang amortization 18k per month...magpaparetoke ako ng ilong at lips..matangos na ang ilong ko pero..I want it perfectly fit..this December yan.
Me: Bat mo gusto magpa retoke ng ilong at lips?
Reycres: Gusto ko kasing fit sa muka ko gusto ko kasing maging hearthrob sasali ako sa PBB next season.
Need I say more?
